This highly skilled Senior Technology position plays an essential role in the development of a multi-year wireline and wireless capital planning tool. This tool aims to identify the optimal mix of network builds across Wireline and Wireless based on Return on Investment (ROI) and enables various scenario analyses to determine different build options. The position also involves assessing the impacts on Wireless network traffic from new products or product changes and managing traffic using different tools and solutions to maximize the use of our wireless assets.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results, analyze financial, network, and customer experience data sets, and research the relationship between technology and AT&T's broader business, focusing on key technology domains such as IT, network connectivity, and media/content technology.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Development:
○ Identify strategy and requirements for developing a multi-year, multi-product capital planning tool.
○ Guide the team on improving the integrated planning tool using advanced features and model parameters.
2. Innovation and Adoption:
○ Introduce and drive the adoption of new modeling and data insights within downstream organizations.
○ Provide analysis of existing model data to determine future paths and requirements for additional AI/ML.
3. Data Analysis and Hypothesis Formulation:
○ Interpret data, formulate hypotheses, and develop an analytical approach to drive strategy for business tooling, particularly integrated planning.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
○ Work with cross-functional teams to develop a technology roadmap for traffic management.
○ Drive the execution of roadmap components and assess impacts on traffic from product-related changes.

• Experience and knowledge in wireless networks.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to integrate both technical and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Education:
○ Preferred Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
○ Typically requires 3-5 years of experience blending technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
○ Ability to design intuitive and interactive dashboards that visualize both geographic and non-geographic data.
○ Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and business intelligence, including creating and managing reports, dashboards, and data models.
○ Experience with SQL and Oracle databases would be a plus.
Our Senior Technology Strategy, earns between $106,100-$159,100 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
