Manager, Communications
We are looking for a senior communications professional who will design and implement company, executive, and people communications across Thirty Madison. In this role, you’ll use your experience building and implementing internal communications that will inspire, educate, and align Thirty Madison’s team around our mission, vision, and values.
You’ll partner closely with the VP of Communications, Communications Lead and our senior leaders across our cross-functional organization to craft clear, compelling narratives that speak to the value we create for our patients across all of our condition-specific brands and the strategies and objectives that get us there. You will co-create with department leads to steward their teams through change and growth, balancing communicating the goals and outcomes of the business, while embodying our values.
You will help identify impactful communications opportunities, write clear content and distill complex topics into simple messages, and design creative campaigns to engage employees throughout the year. You’ll report to the Associate Director of Communications as part of our Communications Team and partner closely with our People team and department heads across the business, including our executive office.
You are employee-centric in all you do, building natural and systematic ways of connecting regularly with employees to understand what matters most to them and how key messages can land best. You are an excellent writer and visual communicator with a meticulous eye for detail. You are an owner and enthusiastic driver of change. You have experience working directly with senior executives on messaging and communications. You're a self-starter and set high expectations for yourself and others. - The base pay range for this position is $122,400 to $168,300 per year**

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
What you get to do everyday:
Company & Executive Communications (30%)
- Develop clear, engaging company and executive communications that consistently connect our Thirty Madison employees to our mission and values while driving awareness of our strategy, objectives, and progress
- Become an essential and trusted partner to leaders, coaching them to more effectively tell stories, manage change, and model our values through their communications
- Develop a Thirty Madison Internal Brand voice, and establish best practices
- Co-create and ghostwrite executive and all company communications
- Suggest and build implementation plan for new channels to best support asynchronous work
People & Change Communications (45%)
- Co-create with the People Leadership team to drive awareness and adoption of key initiatives and to proactively manage change to processes and programs
- In collaboration with our People Partners, develop, maintain, and execute organizational change plans from intake to completion
- Develop systems that support the cascade of information, especially to senior leaders and managers and establish a single source of truth for managers to get timely, actionable information.
- Measure and improve the effectiveness of messaging, channels and practices.
Communications Business Partnership (25%)
- Provide strategic communications support to department heads and program leads on messaging and positioning; influence stakeholders as needed to ensure communications are compelling, clear, and aligned with our desired tone.
What you bring to the role:
- Individual contributor with 4-6 years of experience in a strategic internal communications or related role
- Prior experience with executive, change management, marketing, and/or crisis communications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail
