The Opportunity at Komodo Health

Komodo aims to build the best healthcare data analytics platform in the industry.  As we are maturing, we are investing in our core application platform, building on our strengths in medical and prescription claims, to create consistent domain driven user experience across our different solutions. To do this, we are incrementally revisiting our client-facing applications to provide best of breed user experience starting with a design system.  

The Frontend Engineer will play as a key contributor to the design, development and deployment of our common web UI components and framework for our client-facing applications.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…

• Have led the design, development and deployment in production of SaaS single-page applications
• Have contributed to the creation and adoption of shared UI components across several SPA and frontend / fullstack teams, ideally on Analytics / Dashboarding types of applications
• Have contributed to the creation and adoption of a design system
• Have designed and implemented metrics collection/monitoring that reports web applications health and customer behaviour/adoption
• Have helped create performant CI/CD pipelines for web applications

What you bring to Komodo:

• Excited about UI automation, enabling best UI development practices, and being a team player
• Proficiency in React/Redux-based frameworks, Data visualization frameworks (D3, Leaflet, ...), StoryBook and UI tests automation frameworks
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, CSS, WebComponent with deep technical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines using ESLint, ESBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. with advanced packaging techniques (JS bundle optimization, tree shaking, umd…) and deploying to CDN services
• Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to initiate and effectively drive projects proactively

Compensation at Komodo Health

We are committed to providing competitive compensation for all roles at Komodo Health. We carefully consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including your skills, experience, and location while balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.

The targeted base salary range for the this role is listed below and is accompanied by a competitive bonus and equity package.$123,900—$186,300 USD
