Retail Segment & Value Prop Lead Analyst - Vice President (Hybrid)

The Retail Segment & Value Prop Lead Analyst (Vice President) will support the Client Value Proposition and Segment Senior Strategy Lead (SVP) within the Mass and Emerging Affluent Segments team. This role is crucial in assisting with the definition, development, and execution of compelling value propositions for Citi's US Retail Banking group. This role will help ensure consistent messaging across various channels, support market analysis, and assist in driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and primacy. This role will also involve working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the segment.

Responsibilities:

• Value Proposition Support

  • Assist in the development and refinement of compelling value propositions for the mass and emerging affluent segments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.

  • Support the SVP in cascading the value proposition across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and maximizing its impact on customer acquisition and retention.

  • Work with other partners in driving primary initiatives through identified value propositions that support the effort

• Communication & Advocacy

  • Collaborate with marketing, legal, product, and other relevant partners to ensure consistent communication of value propositions across brand collateral, emails, Citi.com, and mobile channels.

  • Support the review and approval process for value proposition collateral.

• Market Analysis & Research

  • Help conduct market research, analyze customer data (CX, digital performance, etc.), and monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform value proposition strategies.

  • Assist in leveraging customer experience (CX) data, digital performance metrics, competitive intelligence, and other relevant information to develop compelling value propositions.

• Performance & Reporting

  • Support the establishment and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of value proposition strategies.

  • Assist in data-driven adjustments and reporting on value proposition performance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior leaders and teams across branch, digital, and call center channels to ensure alignment and effective execution of value proposition strategies.

  • Support communication and training initiatives to effectively cascade value proposition information to relevant stakeholders.

• Risk Management & Compliance-

• Assist in assessing risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years experience in financial services.

• Strategy consulting experience recommended and driven to deliver on execution.

• Ability to problem solve, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation.

• Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of academic and professional excellence and achievement.

• Creativity and independent thinking;

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies. Leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders. Highly motivated and with enthusiasm for Financial Services industry and desire to master the business.

• Sound working knowledge of financial modeling and can analyze financial statements. Highly proficient in MS Powerpoint and Excel.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
