Hours:                  Full Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)

Job Duties:

Understand the market and our customers. Be the voice of the customer while having an ear to the market at all times. Be able to define and segment users of Anaplan platform and products qualitatively and quantitatively. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Partner with Marketing and Customer Support to develop go to market strategy for new feature launches. Meet with customers, users, prospects, and partners to communicate Anaplan’s product vision, product roadmap, and competitive differentiation. Effectively collaborate across global teams to create alignment between engineering teams and other product stakeholders. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Work with the Product, UX, Engineering, Tech Ops and other cross-functional teams on roadmap planning that also includes capacity planning and/or future technology changes. Use ‘Agile’ methodology to continuously improve every aspect of our product development process. Drive end-to-end feature delivery: writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working with UX to create prototypes for usability testing and research, working with engineering, documentation, support, and marketing to deliver quality product. Train sales, customer success and support on new features and messaging.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a technical product management, product development, or technical professional services occupation.

Special Requirements:

Requires 3 years of experience in:

  • Product development lifecycle and product management processes.
  • Java, System Fundamentals, SaaS applications, cloud platform development technologies, lead go-to-market activities, Implementing Web Services (REST API), creating effective graphical user interfaces.
  • Scrum/Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Building products with exceptional user experience.
  • Working with a combination of local and remote development, QA, and technical writing team to deliver quality products.
