Assistant Child Development Teacher, Toddler Care Center

Assists in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, while supporting the Center's philosophy. Supervises children, using positive guidance techniques, under supervision of Lead Teacher. Communicates with parents & co-workers. Performs duties with minimal supervision. May be designated teacher-in-charge of a classroom.

  • Shifts Available are:
    • Full Time, Days
  • This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:
    • Texas: Lubbock

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualification:

  • HS Diploma -OR- GED Equivalency
  • Active: Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • 1 or more years of experience working with toddlers aged 1-3 years
  • 1 or more years of experience in a Texas Licensed Childcare Facility
  • 3 or more years of teaching experience working in a licensed child care facility (NAEYC accredited center)
