About this opportunity:
Join the regional Talent Acquisition team at our Dublin, OH office. The Talent Acquisition Partner will provide end-to-end Talent Acquisition expertise to our refineries, including talent strategy meetings, candidate and requisition management, while providing a high-level hiring leader and candidate experience.
What you’ll do:
Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders to understand priorities and deliver top talent.
Guide and coach hiring managers throughout the full hiring lifecycle to ensure timely, high‑quality talent decisions.
Lead full‑cycle Talent Acquisition, including intake meetings, sourcing, job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer recommendation development.
Manage the full offer process—compensation recommendations, negotiation, and acceptance, ensuring a strategic long‑term talent fit.
Support target recruitment strategies for the regional markets
Strengthen the Cenovus employer brand through community partnerships, agencies, and recruitment networks.
Who you are:
Legally authorized to work in the US
4+ years of experience in a professional recruiting environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
Proven ability to recruit for hard‑to‑fill roles with limited talent pools
Strong hands-on experience with ATS platforms, preferably Workday
Knowledge of compensation/offers and global mobility considerations within the recruitment process
Oil & Gas industry experience, specifically in Downstream operations
Experience recruiting in unionized environments
Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills
Creative, innovative, and results‑oriented approach
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Effective cross-functional collaborator with a team-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
Flexible, adaptable, and able to travel up to 10%
