The Job:

As a Trades Specialist, you’ll be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team working as a field-based employee in your assigned territory of Bay Area, CA. You’ll get to:

• Achieve sales targets by promoting DEWALT, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER-CABLE, and other SBD brands to end-user customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user partners, managing CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs.
• Mentor your local market team on end-user development, including identifying key contacts and aligning efforts with local teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Utilize Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and opportunities for process improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in informal Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for education.
• 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in construction supplies, with a proven track record and experience selling to high-level executives and jobsite directors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to combine empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
