Senior Software Product Manager

Position Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full Time Senior Software Product Manager who will be responsible for leading the development and execution of product strategies for our Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Power Apps development, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will oversee product lifecycles, collaborate with Federal Government clients, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Primary Location:

• Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States, you will work remotely from home or personal office location.
• All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Travel Requirements:

This position will require travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.

Essential Functions:

• Lead the product management activities for Microsoft Power Platform and Power Apps solutions, from concept to launch.
• Develop and implement product strategies that align with client needs and company objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Federal Government clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
• Oversee a team of at least 5 professionals, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.
• Monitor and report on product performance, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
• Lead Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Government regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in software product management, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform and Power Apps development.
• Proven experience supporting Federal Government clients, with a strong understanding of their unique requirements and challenges.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of at least 5 people.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies.
• Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure, Dynamics 365, or SharePoint.
• Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements.
