Our Navy activities are growing with more projects upcoming and so the demand for a project manager to join our team of professionals serving our customers and stakeholders, delivering the products with high standards of quality. 

 

With reference to, and in close cooperation with the Navy Automation Program Manager, your focus will be on project engineering for mainly automation systems. The main activities range from support for pre- sales contract to handover of the end of lifetime of the system delivery. You are adding value by planning the work scope of the projects, balancing stakeholders’ interest, facilitating getting the deliverables done with focus on high standards of quality, security, time and budget.

 

Responsibilities:
•    Leading, managing and developing your assigned project team.
•    Act as the point of contact for the customer and internal stakeholders is project related topics.
•    Develop, coordinate, execute, and maintain plan data as per contractual specification.
•    Planning and leading the execution of assigned projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
•    Accountable for the performance of the projects (deliverables).
•    Facilitate technical solutions, including support for team members.
•    Responsible for internal project status /milestone reviews and reporting of same.
•    Responsible to follow up on the (customer specific and internal) quality and security procedures.
•    Coordination and Facilitation of equipment deliveries.
•    Participation in supplier equipment FAT if it adds value to the delivery.
•    Advise on any changes to designing and potential cost impacts.
•    Assist other team members as required and promptly resolve Quality/Design issues.
•    Support stakeholder management, of external and internal stakeholders. 
•    Active Participation in project meetings (also overseas, if required).
•    Keep the confidentiality especially related to Naval contracts.


Desired Skills:
•    Fluent English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally).
•    Bachelor of Science in a relevant specialization, e.g. electrical, electronic or software engineering.
•    Good ERP system knowledge (SAP).
•    Min 5 years of working experience in the marine industry.
•    General Cyber security knowledge.
•    Good understanding of Platform equipment functionality (valves, pumps, switch gear etc.).
•    Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to travel overseas.
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.      
•    Ability to act as mentor for your team.
