You will be required to advise the European Agroscience IT Manager on technical escalations and challenges and to coach more junior members of the team on a daily basis as well as advise and guide the businesses on best practices.</p><p><strong>Essential Knowledge</strong></p><ul><li>In depth experience of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 administration, including AD/DHCP/DNS/GPO administration etc.</li><li>Knowledge of administering Azure environments</li><li>Experience with O365 and Intune.</li><li>In depth knowledge and experience of supporting Windows 7 and Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise.</li><li>Strong hardware support skills, including maintenance of PC’s, printers and other associated equipment.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical/Work-based Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Networking in general, (Cisco)</li><li>Routers, Firewall and VPN skills</li><li>TCP/IP and LAN environment</li><li>Microsoft Active Directory</li><li>VMware Configuration and Administration</li><li>Centralised Storage Systems</li><li>Backup Technologies (Veeam/Commvault etc.)</li></ul><p><strong>General Skills/Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Enthusiasm, initiative, motivated self-starter and dependability</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Strong documentation and report writing skills.</li><li>Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work.</li><li>Customer focused</li><li>No 9-5 mentality</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Systems administrator for network (LAN, WAN, firewall), in a Wintel environment.</li><li>Hardware monitoring and upgrading.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar support role in a large multisite environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience of working in an ITIL environment.</li><li>Experience of integrating new businesses</li><li>Experience of working within a Lab environment.</li></ul><p>This role offers and exciting opportunity to work for a global business in their Agroscience business across most of Europe.</p><p>Up to 30% foreign travel will be required to support all of our colleagues throughout the year.</p><p><strong>A valid UK/EU passport </strong>and<strong> a full driving license are a must, </strong>as is the <strong>ability to think independently</strong> and work unsupervised to progress the IT needs and requirements of the business, under the direction of the European Agroscience IT Manager.</p><p>As the role and Eurofins' IT Talent Acquisition team are international, please ensure to submit your <strong><u>application in English</u></strong>.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Are you kind of extraordinary?</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Qualification:</strong></p><ul><li>A-Levels or equivalent</li><li>Full Driving license</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable</strong> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>ITIL certified</li><li>Experience with SAN related systems.</li><li>MCSE/MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) accreditation.</li><li>Cisco certification.</li><li>VMWare certification</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>We support your development! </strong>Do you feel you don’t match 100% of the requirements?
