Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. This position will be based at the following location: PR-SAN JUAN, TORRE CHARDON BUILDING, 350 AV. CARLOS E. CHARDON, SUITES 325, 500 & 610.

Schedule: This position will work a first shift, Monday through Friday. Additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on operational needs.

The Financial Consultant is responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. 

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.

• Advises management of various financial models and recommendations.

• Prepares complex presentations.

• Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports. Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments.

• Manages an administrative expense and maintains more than 50 cost centers.

• This role will help oversee spend at that cost center level, support FP&A analysis for operating expenses and work with cost center managers to track, analyze and maintain their spend within budget.

• This role will also support processes around identifying and tracking cost saving initiatives and opportunities.

• Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: 

• MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

• Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish). Must be able to write, read and speak both languages in a proficiency level.

• Previous experience managing budget forecasts and providing variance explanations is preferred.
