Job Summary:
The Lead Pricing Analyst is a strategic member of the Sales Operations team responsible for developing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth across DMG’s National Accounts organization. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, this role partners closely with National Accounts, Sales Leadership, Field teams, and Implementation to develop competitive pricing for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), customer renewals, contract expansions, and other strategic sales opportunities.
This role combines financial analysis, pricing strategy, and project management to support complex customer opportunities from initial pricing through implementation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and uses data-driven insights to influence commercial decisions while balancing customer value with long-term profitability.
What You'll Do:
- Develop competitive pricing strategies for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), customer renewals, strategic bids, and complex National Account opportunities that align with DMG’s growth objectives and profitability goals.
- Collaborate directly with enterprise client stakeholders to translate complex pricing data into high-impact business cases, maintaining the confidence and executive presence to handle rigorous questioning and scrutiny.
- Partner with National Accounts, Sales Leadership, Field teams, and Implementation teams to evaluate customer requirements, develop pricing solutions, and support successful customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to evaluate customer profitability, labor costs, subcontractor expenses, market trends, and operational considerations, translating complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for business leaders.
- Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring pricing deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and within aggressive customer deadlines.
- Build and maintain pricing models, financial analyses, dashboards, and reporting that improve commercial decision-making and provide visibility into pricing performance, margins, and competitive positioning.
- Lead the development, execution, and continuous optimization of dynamic pricing structures, discount frameworks, and value-based pricing strategies.
- Mentor and support Pricing Analysts by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and promoting consistency in pricing strategies and analytical approaches across the team.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations leadership on strategic initiatives, ad hoc analyses, and business recommendations that improve customer outcomes and support continued organizational growth.

What You Need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, sales operations, financial analysis, commercial strategy, deal desk, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting enterprise or National Account sales organizations and managing complex pricing initiatives.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, financial modeling, and large dataset analysis.
