1st Shift Warehouse Associate

Description

General Summary:

Manually move freight, stock or other materials or perform general labor.

Positions reporting to this position:

• N/A

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas.

• Occasionally operate foam filling machine as required.

• Sort and stock inventory from incoming deliveries.

• Maintain production areas stocked as necessary or upon request.

• Clean and maintain the general warehouse in order.

• Break down and sort reusable components.

• Break down and scrap products that are no longer fit for production.

Requirements

Education and Training Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in window & door manufacturing or related field preferred but not required.

Special Skills Required:

• Possesses the ability to understand and communicate clearly in English & Spanish
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail
• Possesses a high degree of organizational skill.
• Ability to get along with other employees.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods

Working Conditions:

• Factory conditions including loud noise, dust and dirt
• Works with and around saws, welders and other equipment that can cut or burn
• Work area is no air conditioned and is subject, in part, to outdoor climate
