About the role

Job Description:

Are you looking to make a real impact on patient care without ever stepping into a hospital? Intermountain Health is searching for a top-tier Healthcare Executive Recruiter (officially titled HR Executive Talent Acquisition Manager) to help senior leaders thrive. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor, managing the full-cycle recruitment of executive talent who share our mission of Helping People Live the Healthiest Lives Possible.

The Executive Recruiter is responsible for:

  • Leadership Pipeline Development & Talent Mapping: Developing proactive internal and external leadership pipelines for critical roles.

  • Executive Selection Excellence: Improving the quality and consistency of leadership decisions.

  • Leader Success Through Partnership: Supporting successful transitions and long-term impact.

  • Succession Readiness & Talent Intelligence: Providing insight to strengthen leadership continuity.

Along with offering a chance to work in a stable, strong, mission-based environment, this role provides the opportunity to experience the Mountain West’s diverse culture and incredible landscapes. You’ll be able to explore abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, including skiing, hiking, and fishing, as well as stunning national parks and forests, all within hours of where you’ll call home. Becoming a part of the Intermountain team means gaining a family and finding a place to plant your roots.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind, and spiritual well-being. To that end, we’ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling, and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.

While a candidate living within the Intermountain footprint (ID, UT, NV, CO, WY & MT) is preferred, a fully remote candidate may be considered. Currently, we are not hiring remote workers in the following states: CA, CT, HI, IL, NY, RI, VT, and WA.

The healthcare executive recruiter serves as a trusted advisor to help develop and facilitate internal and external relationships with key functional experts and leaders to build, accelerate, and sustain career growth.
