Job Description:

The Role: The Global Security and Investigations team is dedicated to safeguarding the interests of our clients, employees, and the esteemed Fidelity brand. This role is ideal for those dedicated to safeguarding the organization under all circumstances, actively recognizing potential challenges prior to their emergence, and maintaining the company's ethical principles. It is particularly well-suited for individuals interested in monitoring and assessing international security threats. The position entails analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to identify trends and patterns, as well as recognizing potential security vulnerabilities. Additionally, the responsibilities include reporting accounts that display unusual withdrawal activities or fund transfers to effectively reduce risks.

The mission of the Global Security & Investigations (GSI) team is to provide a safe and secure environment for our associates, clients and assets, while maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

What we are looking for:

  • Individuals with experience or interest in criminal justice, sociology, business process enhancement, technology, and analytics.

  • Those who possess or seek to cultivate abilities in operational processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.

Impacts to the business:

  • Provide physical and technical security services to Fidelity associates, customers, and assets around the globe.
  • Conduct thorough global background checks on all new employees and third-party contractors by an internal team to mitigate the risk of negative incidents at Fidelity.
  • Individuals designated as "fact finders" are tasked with conducting both reactive and proactive investigations into issues related to significant misconduct or breaches of policy by employees, contractors, or vendors.
