While details may evolve, our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together three days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Your Career </strong></p><p>Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Sr Payroll analyst with a minimum of 5-10 years<br/>
relevant working experience to join the EMEA Accounting team at the Company’s<br/>
European Headquarter office in Amsterdam. This position will be reporting to the<br/>
Senior EMEA Payroll Manager.</p><p><strong>Your Impact </strong></p><p>Collecting and compiling monthly payroll data from HR ERP system (Workday) and key<br/>
payroll stakeholders (HR, Sales compensation, Equity, Compensation &amp; Benefits teams, Legal) for approximately 9 countries.<br/>

● Communicate all monthly / semi-monthly Payroll input data to external Payroll service provider.<br/>
<br/>
● Execute checks and controls processes by reconciling Payroll input data to Payroll<br/>
outputs delivered by the external service providers.<br/>
<br/>
● Prepare monthly Payroll journal entries as well as payroll related month-end accruals, perform flux movement analysis.<br/>
<br/>
● Assist R2R team in payroll reconciliation to General ledger.<br/>
<br/>
● Handle payroll related questions from employees and internal functions<br/>
<br/>
● Handle payroll related annual statutory audit requests.<br/>
<br/>
● Participate in Payroll projects to improve accuracy and efficiency of the EMEA Payroll function.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Your Experience </strong></p><ul><li>Relevant educational background/degree, preferably in accounting</li><li>5 years relevant working experience in EMEA Payroll Accounting in an international</li><li>environment</li><li>High sense of confidentiality</li><li>Organized</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Excel application skills</li><li>Knowledge of ERP system Workday</li><li>Knowledge of BI tool “Tableau is a plus</li><li>High attention to accuracy and detail</li><li>Ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Fast learner</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Outstanding analytical skills</li><li>Self-driven / Self-starter</li><li>Pro-active</li><li>Fluent in English (both written and verbal)</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving, and demanding environment.</li><li>Critical thinker (identify &amp; implement process improvement opportunities)</li><li>Has a natural interest for new technologies (usage of AI)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>The Team</strong></p><p>As a People Team, we are responsible for fostering an amazing workplace and culture that empowers everyone to do their best work.
