What We Need
We’re looking for a culturally curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative Associate Manager of Brand Marketing to help support and activate the NBA 2K brand across campaigns and cultural touchpoints. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, cohesion, and impact across NBA 2K campaign beats.
This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience in a marketing, advertising or related role. We are looking for someone who’s organized, eager to learn, and passionate about how brands show up in culture. You’ll need to be a strong communicator, a fast learner, and someone who thrives in a team environment where you can support and contribute to bigger-picture strategies while owning key pieces of execution.

What You’ll Do
Cultural Activation Support

Support the execution of brand activations across culture-focused teams (Energy, Community, Partnerships, Music).

Ensure brand consistency in culturally driven initiatives and partnerships.
Track Cultural Presence
-
Monitor the brand’s presence across cultural beats and provide brand-informed feedback and observations.

Help identify opportunities to strengthen brand expression in the culture space.
Toolkits & Campaign Beat Support

Assist in the development of campaign toolkits and participate in creative reviews for brand-led beats and moments.

Help ensure cross-functional teams have the assets and context needed to bring campaigns to life.
Athlete Branding Support

Collaborate with the Manager to develop and support athlete brand cohesion plans.

Help maintain alignment between athlete storytelling and core brand strategy.
Brand Guidelines & Tools

Assist in maintaining brand guidelines, templates, and tools.

Help ensure teams across the organization are using brand assets properly and consistently.
What Will Make You A Great Fit

2-4 years of experience in brand marketing, cultural marketing, or a related field
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Familiarity with brand strategy, creative development, or cultural marketing

Comfortable working in cross-functional environments and contributing to multiple projects at once

Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills

Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative team

Passion for culture, especially where sports, gaming, music, and storytelling intersect

Proficient in PowerPoint (or Keynote) and Excel

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
