Nurse Practitioner - NP – Structural Heart / Valve Center Team – Full Time - Cornell Campus
Join the world-renowned team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell as a Nurse Practitioner in our Heart Valve Center. In this advanced practice role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team delivering cutting-edge care to patients with complex valvular heart disease. You’ll collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, imaging specialists, and care coordinators to ensure seamless evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.
As a Nurse Practitioner in the Heart Valve Center, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic results. You will manage both pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing structural heart interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Your role will include active participation in multidisciplinary valve conferences, contributing to collaborative care planning. You will educate patients and their families about disease processes and available treatment options, coordinate care with referring providers, and support ongoing clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the center.

This is a full time, day shift opportunity.
Preferred Criteria
Minimum of 2 years of cardiology or cardiothoracic experience highly preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Required Criteria
Master’s degree in Nursing and current NYS NP license (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care preferred)
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
