We are looking for a motivated entry level health care provider to become part of our team. This is the perfect opportunity for Kinesiology graduating students to gain practical experience to gain practical experience needed to apply to medical, physician assistant, nursing, Athletic Training school or physical therapy schools. No prior experience needed. We will train. Work with a wide spectrum of highly regarded orthopedic surgeons and healthcare providers in the Bay Area. Gain considerable experience in patient care. Grow as a professional working in a fun, fast-paced, collaborative, and diverse environment.
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting in applying and removing casts, splints, and dressings as directed
- Assisting in fitting patients with braces, boots, other DME as ordered and directed by physician
- Performing gait training and crutch fitting as directed
- Providing patient education materials, communicates physician advice/instructions to patient
- Providing patient care under the supervision of a certified Athletic Trainer
- Ensuring that all necessary documentation is obtained as it relates to payer requirements and standard operating procedures
- Performing patient care responsibilities as assigned, which may include scheduling patients, inventory maintenance, order processing, delivery, explanation of insurance benefits, and courtesy follow up calls
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field (required)
- High school diploma and relevant technical education
Qualification:
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc
- Work effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
- Must have a flexible work schedule with the ability to work late some days and work through the lunch break on busy clinic days
Pay Range:
- $21.00 per Hour
*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
