Pacific Defense is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager who can serve as a hands-on leader to drive our day-to-day manufacturing activities. This candidate should excel in communication and collaboration with various departments, including finance, HR, and logistics, to establish budgets, hire personnel, and ensure smooth product delivery. They will be responsible for setting production goals, maintaining schedules, and upholding quality standards. The ideal candidate must be adept at generating and presenting manufacturing data to management, analyzing production information to optimize efficiency, and strategically managing equipment layout and material flow. Safety and performance standards are essential, and the candidate should be proactive in identifying and implementing operational improvements.
Requirements
- Must have DOD experience with a strong understanding of military standards.
- Must have hands on experience running and managing day to day factory/assembly operations.
- Must have manufacturing experience in Electronic Assemblies, Modules/CCAs/PWBs
- Experience managing product line configuration changes, implementation l, and effectively.
- Ability to establish, access and improve end to end Manufacturing processes – Quality/Cost/Schedule
- Part Acquisition, Operations, Test and Delivery
- Establish & Monitor Key Metrics for the process such as FPY, Effective Yield, Defect count.
- Timely disposition of yield falls out from tests debug and repair
- Conformal Coat and other key processes
- Strong working experience with ERP/MRP Systems
- Ability to establish line of business for modules and Systems.
- Strong RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) or Six Sigma background
- Ability to implement and execute tactical goals/objectives/tasks that align to PDs Strategic Objectives
- Ability and track record of delivering to their customers both Internal and External
- Full lifecycle cost awareness
