Hiring Range: $502,000 to $650,000
Actual pay depends on specialty, experience and performance.

Riverside Cancer Specialists of Tidewater, a proud member of Riverside Health, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join our highly respected oncology team in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Responsibilities
•    Provide comprehensive outpatient medical oncology and hematology care.
•    Diagnose, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer patients.
•    Collaborate with radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, advanced practice providers, and other specialists.
•    Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care coordination activities.
•    Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.
•    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
•    Support Riverside's commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
Required
•    Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution
•    Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
•    Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
•    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
•    Eligibility for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure
•    DEA certification or eligibility
Preferred
•    Experience in community-based oncology practice
•    Interest in quality improvement, population health, and value-based care initiatives
•    Commitment to multidisciplinary and collaborative patient care
