About the role
At Meta Reality Labs (RL), we're developing the future of augmented reality. As a Research Technical Program Manager (SW), you are a critical member of a multidisciplinary team contributing to our efforts to gain a scientific understanding of human and machine perception; translating it into the ultimate AR experience for our users.
You will work closely with a team of engineers in Reality Labs Research to build software and services that power research tools, like Project Aria. Project Aria is a research tool which accelerates Meta’s machine perception and AI learnings from a human. Alignment with teams across Reality Labs and Meta is essential in order to deliver on that vision. To be successful, your goal is to accelerate development by eliminating barriers to your team's success, clearly communicating results to all stakeholders, and ensuring that the big picture and long term strategy remains in focus while going deep as you manage the project day-to-day.
We look for technical program managers who have a strong technical foundation and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.Technical Program Manager, Reality Labs Research Responsibilities
