The Senior Financial Reporting Professional participates in the preparation of periodic financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. The Senior Financial Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues involving understanding and applying accounting policy to transactions in a matrixed environment.

The Senior Financial Reporting Professional ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies. Prepares select journal entries involving sensitive or complex consolidated and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate manner for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. Maintains and adapts SOX control environment processes and documentation.  Participates in research, analysis and implementation of new accounting standards and interpretations; begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical accounting issues, with limited direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• CPA

• 2-3 years of technical experience in GAAP and SEC Reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Big Four public accounting experience

• Oracle FCCS experience

• SEC filing software

Additional Information

Remote KY or IN; this position is essentially a Hybrid Home position, requiring two days in the office each week in Louisville, KY.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$76,800 - $105,800 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
