What You Will Do:
Guidehouse’s Life Sciences team serves as a close partner to leading pharma, biotech, and med tech companies as they navigate the complexities of drug / device development and commercialization amidst a dynamic healthcare landscape. We work with these manufacturers and their investors to ignite and sustain transformation, with a focus on commercial strategy and operations, market access, and business redesign. Our experts assist clients across key service areas such as pipeline & portfolio optimization, launch & brand, value & access, patient services, and transformation.
The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs Interns on real world projects, showcasing the Guidehouse culture and providing them with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work collaboratively with our teams on both internal & client projects, and will provide real time deliverables in service of their client engagement. Each Intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience, in addition to support they will receive across their project teams.
Highlights of our Internship Program include:
10-week experience in Summer 2025 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 2 and run until Friday, August 8)

This position develops an Intern’s analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective strategy consulting. Interns work with Guidehouse Life Sciences teams providing support through all aspects of project work. Specific tasks include the following: scheduling and conducting interviews with physicians, payers, and other thought leaders in healthcare; gathering and analyzing medical literature, healthcare market reports and databases; and participating in document writing, production, and client presentations.

What You Will Need:
Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
Degree Status: Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree, or Doctoral degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2025 and graduate by Summer 2026)
What Would Be Nice To Have:
BA, BS, MPH, MBA, PhD or MS-BA with the following concentrations are preferred: Biology, Biochemistry, Business, Biomedical Engineering, Biometry, Economics, Finance, Health, Neurobiology, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Public Health
Demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting
Critical thinking, creativity, and strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate superior data collection, organizational, quantitative, analytical skills, and a high level of motivation and initiative
PowerPoint and Excel skills – ability to think graphically
As part of the interview process for this opportunity, candidates will be asked to complete two industry-specific case studies. The first case study will be a presentation, the prompt for which will be provided 7 days in advance of the scheduled interview. The second case will be a spot case administered by the interviewer in real time.
The annual salary range for this position is $59,000.00-$98,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
