Maintenance Technician, Part Time

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Intuit Dome team! The Maintenance Technician will support the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry, painting, and metal work.

This is a part-time role based at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA, running from October 2025 through February 2026. The scope of this position encompasses a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. 

 

What You Will Do:

• Change air filters in spaces where no fans or machinery are in operation, which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by an Engineer.
• Respond to customer requests and submit/close work orders as necessary
• General cleaning of engineering spaces.
• Cleaning, patching, and painting at various locations as directed by the Director of Engineering
• Perform general laborer work as assigned by Director of Engineering or Vice President of Operations, such as loading, unloading, and moving materials for the Engineering Department.
• Furniture moving, modular systems breakdown and set-up.
• Preventive maintenance in all restrooms.
• Assist Engineers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering

 

Your Background, Skills, and Experience:

• Two or more years’ experience in the field of facility management, preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.
• Prior experience working in new venue preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community, both oral and written.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.
• Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with demonstrated confidence, decision-making, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

 

Compensation 

• The range for this position is $34.00-$36.00/hour.

• The role is classified as non-exempt. 

 

Physical Requirements 

• Able to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds 
• Comfortable working at various heights 
• Both indoor and outdoor environments; indoor conditions are generally air-conditioned, while outdoor conditions may include inclement weather such as direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, sleet, and wind. 
• Exposure to high noise levels and high vibrations
