Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defines the long-term roadmap for intelligent automation across sourcing, logistics, and dispatching
• Partners with Operations, Finance, and Field teams to identify high-value use cases that drive measurable efficiency and service improvement
• Builds intelligent tools that streamline core supply chain processes such as parts sourcing, inventory management, service scheduling, and technician routing
• Uses APIs, triggers, workflow orchestration, and decision logic to automate repetitive tasks, eliminate manual errors, and accelerate operational throughput
• Integrates real-time data and rules-based automation to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce parts waste, and increase first-time complete rates
• Builds reliable, near real-time data pipelines and analytics environments to support forecasting and optimization
• Implements low-code solutions or automation to reduce manual workflows and improve accuracy across logistics, procurement, and field systems
• Establishes clear KPIs for speed-to-service, first-time-complete rate, inventory turns, and cost-per-job
• Monitors model performance, analyze results, and continuously refine systems to ensure ROI and reliability
• Partners closely with Engineering, Product, and Field Operations to ensure tools are user-friendly and embedded in core business processes
• Translates complex data science outputs into clear operational actions and executive insights

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree
• Over 10 years of related experience
• Up to 25% travel
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 8-12 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or operations analytics, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
• Proven success applying automation to supply chain, logistics, or field service operations (e.g., forecasting, dispatch optimization, cost modeling)
• Hands-on experience deploying models to production and integrating them into business workflows
• Expertise with SQL, Python, and cloud-native ML environments (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, Lambda)
• Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Quicksight, Power BI, or similar
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical insights into operational outcomes and financial impact
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional executive teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience leading Automation programs in logistics-heavy or service-based industries
• Experience with Gen AI and automation technologies (e.g., chatbots, intelligent routing, RPA) used to enhance workforce and customer experience
• Deep understanding of first-principles problem solving and operational systems design
• Excitement to work in a mission-driven, transformation-oriented environment that values experimentation and measurable impact
