About the role

Description

This person will be a dedicated claims advocate for the Private Client Group. 


This individual will work with our Private Client team to support our clients throughout the claims process.  This will including working with our sales associates to provide updates and status on claims, speaking with Private Client insureds and providing them exceptional customer service as you assist them in navigating the claims lifecycle. 


He/ She will be responsible for documenting all activity for those claims. Our focus is always on advocating for our clients.  


Duties will include:

Supporting private clients with reporting new losses

Tracking and updating both the client and sales associate as to the status of the claim

Working with independent claims adjusters to ensure our client is receiving the best possible service

Disputing non covered claims with carriers when grey areas exist  


This employee will support the Private Client team with claims administrative and processing duties. This individual will also back up our Select / Main Street Claims Consultant.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience include:

  1. Fluency in MS   Office products.
  2. Superior verbal and written   communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of insurance coverage and terminology   preferred.
  4. Ability to multitask and operate in an   ever changing environment is critical.
  5. Ability to work well in a team   environment.
  6. Ability to communicate clearly, to work   well with others, and to manage time effectively.
  7. Associate degree preferred or equivalent in work experience.
  8. 2+ years’ experience in Insurance, specifically Claims.
  9. Must have the ability to provide white glove service to our clients while representing the Starkweather brand
