Endpoint Security Engineer III

Location: Tampa, FL (hybrid)

 

As an Endpoint Security Engineer III you will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Platform Security Services and will be responsible for implementation, management, and optimization of Endpoint Security solutions to protect Deepwatch customers. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of customer-purchased endpoint security solutions.  This role will require  standardization of processes, adherence to a Knowledge Management practice, and fulfillment of required KPIs, objectives, and metrics. Additionally, you will be cross-trained in other endpoint solutions such as Crowdstrike and SentinelOne to provide support for Deepwatch Customers. 

  

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Administration of Service Solutions: Manage the customer’s endpoint technology, including but not limited to, agent management, console upgrades, Deepwatch user management, product configuration, dashboarding and reporting, exclusions, blocklisting, policy management, log forwarding, and vendor support management
  • Feedback and Innovation: Provide oversight for all aspects of the endpoint protection platform configurations while giving feedback on processes and procedures and advocate for potential efficiencies
  • Triage of Platform Alerts and Service Requests: Quickly assess and prioritize health monitoring and platform engineering alerts and service requests, following predefined procedures and escalation paths as necessary
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to coordinate responses and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Customer Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with customers regarding service incidents, resolutions, and any necessary follow-up actions
  • Documentation: Provide detailed work notes and summaries for both internal records and customer-facing communication, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation responding to critical issues
  • Responsiveness: Respond promptly to alerts generated by monitoring platforms, investigating and resolving issues or escalating as appropriate

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
