You’ll be working as a part of energetic Automation and Controls team with diverse expertise.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Requirements for the position: </span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Suitable master's or bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or similar related field</span></li> <li><span>Over 3 years’ experience on embedded software (C/C++) development</span></li> <li><span>Experience in refining requirements for software functions and collaboration within partner network</span></li> <li><span>Experience in automated software testing practices and DevOps</span></li> <li><span>Good problem-solving ability</span></li> <li><span>Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is English</span></li> <li><span>Good communication and teamwork skills</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: </span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Experience in agile development practices</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge in field busses and distributed systems</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge in modern software development practices</span></li> <li><span>Basic understanding of electronics and electrical circuits, schematics, datasheets etc.</span></li> <li><span>Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, CPUs, memories, &amp; FPGA related components</span></li> <li><span>Quality mindset </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Additional interests/expertise-areas seen as a plus:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Linux environments; Yocto</span></li> <li><span>New and legacy CPU architectures</span></li> <li><span>FPGA SW development</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Why you and us?   </span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>You are valued – as your true self. </strong>At Wärtsilä YOU matter.
