This individual will be expected to receive in-house training in exposure-based CBT, consistent with the PATCH treatment model, as well as use evidence-based assessment progress monitoring tools to guide their treatment practice.

Job Description

PATCH provides evidence-based assessment and treatment for youth ages 4-18 with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive-related disorders at Hall Mercer. PATCH is the only designated evidence-based practice center for exposure-based cognitive behavioral therapy (EX-CBT) for youth (gold-standard psychosocial treatment for pediatric anxiety) in Philadelphia’s public mental health system. Specific responsibilities include providing direct clinical services to youth in the PATCH program, with a focus on therapy services. This individual will be expected to receive in-house training in exposure-based CBT, consistent with the PATCH treatment model, as well as use evidence-based assessment progress monitoring tools to guide their treatment practice.

In this part-time, temporary role, the staff member will carry a caseload of 10-20 clients, to whom they will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy aligned with the PATCH treatment model. They also will attend weekly individual supervision with a licensed clinician on the PATCH team and weekly group supervision.
