Position Title: Multi-Line Claim Representative I

Location: Remote  (based in Chicago, IL) 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000

 

Job OverviewAre you a seasoned claims adjuster ready to take on a dynamic, fully remote role? CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Line Claims Representative I to investigate and adjust claims across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the opportunity to work with various accounts in jurisdictions including TX, FL, and IL. A valid adjuster's license is required, with a preference for TX or FL.

 

With a focus on professional growth, this role may serve as advanced training for promotion to senior-level positions. Candidates should have at least three years of multi-line claims experience and a track record of excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Claims Investigation & Adjustment: Investigate, analyze, and resolve multi-line claims in line with CCMSI standards and guidelines.
• Coverage & Liability Assessment: Conduct detailed evaluations to determine liability, assess coverage, and manage bodily injury claims.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements directly with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties within the scope of client authorization.
• Medical & Legal Review: Review medical records and legal invoices to ensure they align with claim requirements, resolving disputes as needed.
• Payments & Subrogation: Authorize claim payments, supervise subrogation opportunities, and maintain financial accuracy within system reserves.
• Client Relations: Deliver exceptional service by preparing thorough reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to service commitments.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years handling multi-line claims, including liability determination and bodily injury evaluation.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, understanding of medical terminology, and proven ability to analyze complex coverage issues.
• Education: Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Insurance-related fields is a plus.
• Licensure: Adjuster's license required (preferably TX or FL).
• Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
• Additional Skills: Bilingual abilities and property or auto claim handling experience are highly desirable.

Performance Metrics

• Audits: Quality of file handling and adherence to company standards.
• Inventory Management: Consistently maintain a manageable workload and meet diary requirements.
• Client Satisfaction: Ensure timely and effective communication and resolution of claims.

Work Environment

• Fully remote, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Occasional travel for meetings, claim reviews, or training may be required.
