Wage: $46,800.00/annual DOE

Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Overview: The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing production machinery and equipment to support safe and efficient operations. This position performs preventive and emergency maintenance and ensures equipment operates according to established standards.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
Machine Maintenance and Repair
Set up, adjust, and maintain all machines.
Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on all production machinery.
Repair, modify, adjust, and calibrate incorrectly functioning machinery in accordance with predetermined standards.
Test equipment after the repair has been made.
Assess performance problems and take appropriate corrective action.
Must be able to change bearings and belts on industrial machinery.
Ability to diagnose and correct equipment.
Work closely with production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize operational disruptions.
Fabrication and Mechanical Skills
Must be able to weld, use a cutting torch, or plasma cutter to fabricate parts.
Must have a strong mechanical background.
Ability to use hand, power, and other tools.
Knowledge of other Industrial machinery in the plant is a plus.
Preventive Maintenance and Inventory
Maintain preventative maintenance database, labor, parts, vendors, etc.
Must be able to work independently in locating parts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tool cribs and maintenance areas.
Quality and Workplace Requirements
Must be able to read and comprehend customer specifications and quality requirements.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and think creatively to solve problems.
May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts to support production needs.
Exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, and varying environmental conditions.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain personal vehicle insurance.
Ability to use hand, power, and other tools.
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Knowledge of other Industrial machinery in the plant is a plus.
Ability to lift at least 35 pounds, reach above shoulder length, stoop, and bend down.
Ability to read work instructions, manuals, safety procedures, and complete maintenance documentation.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements necessary for maintenance tasks.
Ability to diagnose and correct equipment.
Must have and maintain basic hand tools necessary to perform the job, including a socket set, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
