Wiring and Harness Technician - 59 North & B8 Area

Description

 Mako Industries is hiring 10 Wiring and Harness technicians.  Must have experience.  

• Experience with harnesses and electrical cabinets. 1200 wire PLC harness
• Knowledge of 1200 wire PLC harness 
• Manufacture instrumentation and equipment harnesses to support the internal verification and validation activities
• The candidate must have electrical knowledge 
• Ability to create wiring harnesses following documented schematics and data sheets
• Assemble connectors with including component per company standards
• Assist with sensor and harness repair as needed
• Verify the functionality of instrumentation by following documented procedures
• Ensure quality of work is in line with the requirements of the testing applications
• Positive attitude and great work ethic
• Ability to work independently and support a challenging delivery schedule
• Inspect completed harnesses for accuracy and functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Flexible with hours.  May work 1st or 2nd shift.
• Hours on shifts may vary.   Need to be Flexible
• Working 50-60 hours a week.
• Must have experience with wiring harnesses 
• Must have experience with Electrical cabinets  
• Positive attitude and great work ethic
• Ability to work independently and support a challenging delivery schedule
• High attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in soldering is advantageous.
