We are currently conducting interviews for a Senior Project Manager for our Electrical Wastewater Division. This role will be responsible for project cost, schedule, and overall project results. Applicants must have 1+ year of proven Project Management experience in Water treatment facility construction to be considered for interviews.

Requirements

  • Provide expertise in wastewater systems and treatment plant strategies, evaluation, modeling, design, and construction including: treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and other utility water systems.
  • Leading and collaborating with other engineering leaders on project scope, proposal, design, presentation, resourcing, scheduling, and management.
  • Ensure the project is executed in accordance with the Contract/PO and specifications.
  • Analyze project revenue, cost, and profitability, including material and labor costs against project quote. Resolve discrepancies and report on the profitability of projects.
  • Review project scope to determine the schedule, budgets, procedures/processes necessary to execute the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of a project.
  • Maintain project execution tools and project services including Document Control, Procurement, Quality, and Resource Owners.
  • Update milestone billing reports and ensures accurate invoices are sent in a timely manner.
  • Create and enforce project budgets comprising manpower, material, and other cost centers updating consumption vs, execution on monthly basis.
  • Serve as primary customer contact from the time of contract until the completed product is delivered and installed, as well as liaison between customer and Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing and Shipping departments.
  • Review customer specifications, project quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Schedule and lead follow-through internal and external project kick-off meetings and project and design reviews between Design, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, and Sales and customer.
  • Serve as a single point of contact to management for all project information and status updates.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Working knowledge and understanding of National Electric Code.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers on long-term projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with production personnel, designers, engineers, management, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and customers, balancing customer needs and requests with production and delivery availability.
  • Complex problem-solving skills.
  • Highly skilled in team facilitation and conflict resolution.
  • Self-motivated work well independently and in a team setting under time constraints.

Education & Experience

  • Must have 1 year of proven Project Management experience in Water Treatment facility construction.
  • Must have 1 year of proven Project Management experience in Electrical Commercial construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist
  • Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
  • Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
  • Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
