PURPOSE STATEMENT

The primary function of the Senior Supply Network Planner is to collaborate with the ESO (Enterprise Service Organization) to develop supply and capacity plans for designated production facilities and production lines. This role actively manages Sales and Operations Planning (IBP) process to ensure a balance between customer service, manufacturing effectiveness, inventory investment, and spoilage avoidance. This position is also responsible for management of Materials Planning and Production Scheduling. Manage the raw material and finished goods inventory investments and replenishment process. Manage the finished goods inventory projections/investments and replenishment process.

This role is responsible for understanding and communicating variances of inventory projection and ensure stability of plants. Track and report production, supply, and fulfillment related issues and planning metrics as part of the IBP process. Analyze and review inventory to minimize spoilage and maximize inventory turns. Monthly analyze capacity utilization and provide information to support when needed for business case for capacity expansion. 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • ​​​Manage 2-3 direct reports and support Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Engagement process

  • Establish inventory planning and production scheduling parameters to be executed by Master Production Schedulers

  • Supporting production scheduling process; ensure development of a master production schedule based on production capacity and requirements passed from supply planning

  • Manage working capital investments (raw materials, conversions, and finished goods) for designated production facilities to achieve lowest total delivered cost

  • Conduct monthly Supply Agreement process for designated manufacturing facilities and product categories in support of Sales and Operations Planning Process

  • Collaborate with plant operations team to ensure efficient use of resources, minimize downtime, and meet production targets

  • Partner with ESO for master data management in SAP and Blue Yonder

  • Data Analysis and Reporting; utilize data analysis tools and software (Power BI, SAP, Blue Yonder) to track and report on KPIs

  • Partner with ESO for reviewing KPIs including actual inventory vs. projections, customer service fill rate, production plan adherence, and master data completeness

  • Partner with the ESO in developing weekly production plans for 108 weeks (2 years) focusing on longer term plans (weeks 13 – 108) accounting for new product rollouts, planned operational initiatives, down times, and seasonal product planning and prebuilds

  • Analyze and review inventory stocking policies and strategies in order to minimize spoilage, maximize service, and maximize inventory turns

  • Analyze total delivered costs (manufacturing and distribution), recommend and implement change processes, and strategy to achieve lowest supply chain cost

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including Plant Operations, Logistics, Sales, Speed-to-Market, Marketing, Procurement, and Finance as well as others

  • Generate and analyze scenario plans in order to find efficiencies in network and for capacity planning

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. MBA or related Master’s Degree desired.

  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Production scheduling, and procurement roles (preferably in a manufacturing or production environment)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication

  • Strong organizational skills alongside adaptability and flexibility to changing market or business needs

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

  • Proficiency in using advanced Sup
