Shift Schedule:

• Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays, working a minimum of four (4) shifts, preferably five (5) shifts each week.
• Individuals should be flexible to accommodate overtime needs in this role.
• 4:25pm – 4:35am (12 hour shift)
• For the first month of employment production team members will work Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.

Job Purpose and Overview

As a machine operator you will work with raw material to complete a mix formula, mix ingredients to complete the batch and package the material or palletizing for shipping.

 

What Does It Take to be a Machine Operator I at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to give your input on production reports 
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
• Ability to deal with problem solving in variable situations 
• Must be able to work well with others or independently
• Forklift certified
