About the Role

Support Staff assist in many capacities around the funeral home to ensure that families and their guests are well cared for during services and visitations. No two days are the same. You may greet families and visitors, help prepare for and assist during funeral and memorial services, and escort families and guests to cemetery services.

Support Staff also provide behind the scenes support by assisting with administrative tasks, answering phones, running errands, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming, and well prepared funeral home environment. This role is an important part of creating a calm, respectful experience for families during some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Position Highlights


Part time, after hours schedule with varying availability
Per transfer compensation for work performed outside normal business hours

Basic Qualifications


High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving standards
Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role with assistance as needed
Willingness to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis
Professional appearance and respectful demeanor at all time
