PSE's IT Infrastructure team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior Facility Maintenance Planner position!

Job Description
Plans, organizes, prioritizes and communicates building maintenance and support activities for planned, unplanned and emergency work. Provides oversight and coordination of associated internal and external resources including vendors and contractors.
This role is relied upon to focus on Service Provider performance quality including scheduling and leading building audits to document and determine KPIs affecting contractor payments, field investigations with engineers and builders such as roof leak studies and root cause, enforcing service matrix activities and frequency, and working with maintenance technicians on engineered solutions to optimize the balance of safety, durability and cost. Responsible for scheduling and documenting compliance activities.

This job is considered “safety sensitive” as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads and may train less experienced facility maintenance planners.
- Contributes to process improvements.
- Responsible for daily facility maintenance activities and emergency response work at all PSE locations.
- Oversees service providers to ensure service level agreements are maintained and followed. Contracts include but are not limited to janitorial, landscaping, fences and gates, pest control and various mechanical and electrical services.
- Prioritizes communications, coordinates with facility/personnel and dispatches appropriate service provider(s). Provides on-location/facility oversight when necessary such as scoping and final inspections.
- Ensures accurate recording and maintaining current contracts, invoices approval and associated documentation such as periodic KPIs.
- Acts as liaison with service providers with regards to outstanding issues and follow-on activities.
- Tracks, reviews, analyzes, organizes and maintains essential documents to support building maintenance at various locations.
- Conducts office and field research to determine compliance with contracts and maintenance standards.
- Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and work scheduling. Tracks and documents completion of scheduled work.
- Schedules compliance activities such as mandated septic system inspections.
- Supports policies, procedures and consistent communication to ensure compliance with related standards including NERC, CIP and company safety standards.
- Responds to related call-outs during storm and emergency situations.
- Coordinates with other PSE departments, as required, to meet maintenance requirements and timelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or Technical Field based on the physical sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- 7 years experience related to building/facility management or construction.
- Experience leading small facilities engineering projects such as roof repairs, equipment replacements.
- Mechanical aptitude including root cause determination and repair solutions.
- Demonstrated organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Ability to read drawings, interpret contracts, understand building codes (fire & safety), inspect work quality in the field, enforce contract duties performance quality expectations.
- Proficiency in MS office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Washington state driver’s license.
- Available to respond to emergencies/call-outs, during non-standard times.
