Job Duties
This Environmental Services Department provide an effective and efficient Housekeeping and Apparel Services program to insure a clean, safe, pleasant, and functional environment for both the hospital population and staff. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility and providing clean linen/apparel is an integral part of providing quality patient care.
Must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday and have Skills/Experience in Housekeeping or Laundry.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Driver's License required.
Additional Considerations
• Previous cleaning or laundry experience in a healthcare institutional setting preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn and perform cleaning and sanitation procedures in a safe and
efficient manner.
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks which may require physical demands
such as lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, pulling, pushing, climbing, etc.
• Ability to operate commercial washer and dryer preferred.
• Ability to sort and transport linen
• Ability to work in a secure locked environment
