Position Details:

• Location: Redlands, CA (In-Person)
• Employment Type: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)
• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians/providers with procedures, treatments, diagnostic tests, vaccinations, and patient calls.
• Provide instructions to patients as directed by the physician/provider, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Notify patients of diagnostic test results via phone or written communication as directed.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician/provider.
• Reinforce patient education and follow up on care instructions.
• Perform disinfection and sterilization procedures in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and work areas.
• Assist in monitoring and restocking medical supplies.
• Handle difficult situations and interact professionally with patients and families.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certificate or CMA certification through AAMA or AMT.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office (pediatric experience highly preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and computer systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment with a positive and professional demeanor.
