  • Position Summary

    • Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of Single Business Office (SBO) teams for Self-Pay, Balance-after-Insurance, Client Billing, Vendor Management, Corporate Mail Room and miscellaneous support teams to complete Revenue cycle functions.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare or Finance related field preferred

    Licenses and Certification

    • Fair Debt Collection Practice Competency
    • Bankruptcy proficiency exam
    • Epic Certification version 2018 and continuance of new version training (NVT).  Single Billing Office, Self-Pay follow-up within 6 months of hire/transfer date

    Role Specific Responsibilities

    • Disseminates information to user departments of changes to billing and collection rules and regulations affecting SBO Operations defined in the Position Summary above.
    • Works collaboratively with revenue cycle leaders to achieve strategic initiatives.
    • Leads the development of internal controls to ensure proper billing, follow-up and collection procedures of accounts receivable affecting SBO Operations.
    • Maintains compliance with job relevant Federal and/or State Regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, Patient Fair Billing Act, 501(r) Billing, Collections, Financial Assistance, Bankruptcy, Estates, Crime Victims, and Bad Debt .Stays current on industry programs and/or newsletters and demonstrates initiative to educate appropriate departments.
    • Supervises, monitors, evaluates and manages revenue cycle vendor partnerships to ensure appropriate vendors performance.  Provides timely vendor performance feedback to vendors and organizational leadership   Promotes good vendor relationships and serves as a liaison between vendors and organizational leaders and staff.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$51,168.00 - $79,310.40
