We're seeking a dedicated Schoolwide Intervention Specialist to support the Principal by providing instructional leadership, coordinating assessments, and guiding curriculum implementation. This role coaches teachers, analyzes student data, and leads academic and behavioral interventions to promote student success. A collaborative and proactive leader, the Specialist is committed to inclusive education and schoolwide achievement.

 

What We Offer:

  • Base pay of $57,000 -$62,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes student academic achievement as the core mission of the school, systematically monitoring and evaluating student progress using objective, data-driven methods..
  • Serves as the State Assessment Coordinator, ensuring the smooth administration and compliance of all statewide assessments.
  • Collaborates with administrative colleagues to identify and support at-risk students, providing disciplinary guidance and intervention when necessary
  • Maintains up-to-date Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and assists with physical managements as necessary.
  • Provides leadership in the design, implementation, and innovation of educational programs that address the diverse needs of all students, including English learners and those in Special Education.
  • Works alongside the Principal to conduct data analysis and assists in preparing and delivering professional development focused on data-driven instruction and assessment.

 

Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Friday 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • CDE License in Special Education generalist required.
  •  Demonstrated track record of producing high levels of growth in academic student achievement on standardized state testing.
  •  Five or more years of successful educational experience is required.
