Qualifications:
● Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts
● Current BLS CPR certification
● Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in ER or outpatient triage setting.

 Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with a solid understanding of disease processes and age-specific development.
 Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality nursing care in collaboration with physicians and support staff.
 Culturally sensitive, with a strong interest in serving diverse patient populations.

 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, individuals seeking assistance, representatives of outside agencies, and the general public.
 Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with outpatient and ambulatory care best practices.
 Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
 Flexible, professional, and reliable, with the ability to adapt to varying patient needs
 Committed to patient-centered care, customer service, and ongoing professional growth
 Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Russian, or Vietnamese).

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
 Receives and responds to both telephone and in-person triage requests from patients. Conducts nursing assessments, exercises clinical judgment, answers health-related questions, provides patient education, and offers guidance following established clinical protocols and guidelines.
 Documents telephone triage, patient education, and patient instruction accurately and precisely within the electronic medical record.
 Schedules same-day and follow-up appointments with providers to support timely and coordinated patient care.
 Provides ongoing patient education, clinical assessment, and support to patients while working closely with medical providers to deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care.
 Performs nurse visits as needed, providing clinical assessments, patient education, and nursing interventions following established protocols.
 Administers prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments following approved clinical protocols and standards of nursing practice. Ensures accurate and timely documentation of all administrations in the electronic medical record.
 Serves as a resource for staff, offering clinical guidance, nursing support, and educational
opportunities as appropriate to promote staff development and quality patient care.
 Other duties as assigned.


Working Conditions:
● This position involves prolonged use of a telephone and extended periods of computer-based work at a workstation.
● It requires the ability to sit for long durations, with occasional standing and walking
● May be required to lift and carry objects typically weighing between 5–20 pounds.

*Salary ranges from $39 - $52.41
