Job Summary
Provides daily leadership and direction to the FOH team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Oversees the setup, service, and breakdown of all retail functions while maintaining cleanliness and organization in all FOH service areas. Ensures strict compliance with all liquor laws and regulations during the service of alcoholic beverages. Performs additional duties as assigned to support banquet and retail operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items.
- Instructs staff on work expectations for catered and retail functions.
- Understands all event paperwork and reports.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment.
- Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
- Knowledgeable of menu offerings.
- Logs and maintains food temperatures.
- Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
- Adheres to location appearance| uniform guidelines.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Reports to FOH Operations Manager
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a food handler’s permit and TABC certificate as required by state laws.
- Previous Retail and/ or supervisory experience.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Excellent communication and standard level of computer literacy.
