Free People Sample Coordinator

Role Summary

The Sample Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining samples for retail channel. This person will know the whereabouts of all samples using company programs and self-knowledge. They will receive samples from buyers, use for big ideas and pass samples off to the retail team. They will manage and organize sample by division and class. The coordinator will need to work closely with the other sample coordinators, copywriters, buyers, merchandisers, marketing and studio teams.  They will also be responsible for putting together monthly assortments with all pertinent information.

Role Responsibilities

• Taking monthly and seasonal pic pack meetings in order to know what items retail will receive. This includes getting all information from buying team – cc’s, store count and APS goals. 
• Help put together the Monthly/ Seasonal Fall Big ideas pack – pulling all information from buying team and include in big ideas pack. Also, help with the big ideas set up.  Put together the pack and have it approved. 
• Organization and maintenance of the mock shop - make sure organized and samples are divided by month and/or class .
• On a monthly and seasonal basis, reach out to all division, Apparel, Accessories, and Intimates to get pertinent information for set ups and store communication. 
• Assist with all other sample coordinating for any retail project.  

Role Qualifications

• Must exhibit strong communication, time management skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks
• Must demonstrate creative thinking
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships and communicate effectively with internal partners
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Bachelors Degree in Fashion, Business or a related field required
• Retail experience preferred  
• Location Philadelphia, PA
