What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or access points, verifying credentials and reporting access concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through established site protocols.
• Support cash-handling and high-value asset areas through visible presence, routine checks, and timely communication regarding security-related issues, operational disruptions, and/or emergency conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
