Job Title: Senior Project Financial Analyst

Department: Finance 

Reports to: Director Business FP&A

FLSA Status: Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities. 

  • Responsible for assisting business development / infrastructure project managers and team members with all facets of project financial support including coding, accounting, analysis, and reporting.
  • Responsible for effectively capturing, tracking, and measuring project budget, actual, and forecast costs.
  • Responsible for ensuring all projects and WBS element master data are properly set up and maintained in SAP (including required SOX controls).
  • Maintain and update project financial budget, actuals, and forecast via work breakdown structure (WBS).
  • Work with supply chain and accounts payable to ensure proper coding and cost tracking.
  • Work with the accounting team to understand accounting treatment for various aspects of each infrastructure project.
  • Review costs and provide monthly analysis to project managers and the senior management team. 
  • Create, maintain, and distribute routine reports associated with all assigned projects. 
  • Support the preparation of monthly accruals and forecasts for all managed projects.
  • Support ongoing operations by providing full-cycle financial support for any non-project assigned areas, including coding invoices, recording accruals, analyzing monthly results, preparing forecasts, and preparing reports for management.
  • Assist the team with ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Support internal and external audits for assigned areas.
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
