Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Training and Development Associate to join our team of qualified, and diverse individuals.

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

 

This is an application modernization project where we are working with a partner who will be converting the source code of a legacy application from Natural, Cobol, and VB.Net to C#. There will be a small percentage of the source code that will not be addressed as part of our partners automated conversion. This project will be run using agile methods and DevOps tools. The Training and Development, Lead Associate will participate in daily stand-up meetings and join the project for the last three months focusing on:

 

• Work with the developers and SMEs to create training materials for client technical team who will support the application.
• Lead training sessions with client development team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience
• Prior experience as a technical trainer or in a teaching role.
• Experience in training on software development methodologies.
• Experience and understanding with agile methodology and DevOps tools
• Experience in training on cloud services and architectures.
• US Citizen or Green Card

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in training and development or specific technical certifications

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
