Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager of Nightlife, the Junior A/V Technician may be required to:
- Complete the setup and strike of specials FX systems.
- Assist the production team with audio, video, lighting, and camera setups operations and strikes for nightlife venues.
- Work as dock or room supervisors for vendor setups.
- Identify, diagnose and/or repair faulty equipment.
- Assist the Nightlife Marketing team with décor setup and strikes as necessary.
- Encourage teamwork and aid in building cross-department relationships.
- Work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards.
- Ensures that all Wynn Resorts core values, property, and department standards are implemented and applied.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Experience / Education
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in large scale entertainment or live events setting.
- Required current OSHA 10 General Industry Safety card.
- Must have scissor lift certification or is able to obtain.
- DJ equipment experience a plus
- Lighting console operation & programming a plus
- Digital audio console experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure as well as manage logistics.
- Willing to define, practice and conform to safe working procedures.
- Knowledge of OSHA health and safety protocols is required.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
- Models a professional and polished appearance as required by company guidelines.
- Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
